Keith Brown is a Consultant Ocularist working in Kent and the South-East of England. He qualified in 1970
and undertook post graduate training at Moorfields Eye
Hospital in London. From there he moved to Kent and was appointed to the contact lens
department at the Kent County Ophthalmic and Aural
Hospital in Maidstone, the County
town of Kent.
He entered private practice a year later in Tunbridge Wells going on to an
appointment as the contact lens practitioner at the Kent and Sussex hospital in Royal
Tunbridge Wells.
The next step was to begin a general ophthalmic practice in Southborough
near Tunbridge Wells in 1978 and a second general ophthalmic practice in
West Malling, Kent in 1982. Appointments to further hospital posts
followed.
He is a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Spectacle Makers and a
Foundation Fellow of The British Association of Dispensing Opticians.
